As a mom of two kids, the youngest being almost two years old, my mornings start early and as soon as my feet hit the floor I'm in GO Mode until I'm back in bed at night. I always jump start my mornings with a cup of black coffee but when you have a full day of work, cooking, and chores ahead it's just not enough.
My family and I are really into natural juices and smoothies and drink one or the other daily. Lately, the Apple-Carrot-Ginger juice has been my favorite because of it's flavor but most importantly it's benefits.
Apples are great for your teeth and gums. Carrots are known to improve vision and promote healthier skin. As for ginger, it's at the top of my list for ingredients to use in juices and smoothies. It helps with migraines and reduces inflammation.
10 medium size Carrots
1/2 inch long piece of Ginger
Wash the fruits and veggies
Trim ends of carrots
Core apples and slice to fit in juicer
Peel ginger and cut into smaller pieces
Add each ingredient to the juicer
